Something To Think About

To handle yourself, use your head;
To handle others, use your heart.
Using arcane facts and figures to
Prove a point is a sign of shallowness.
Anger is only one letter short of danger.
If someone betrays you once, it's his fault;
If he betrays you twice, it's your fault.
Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people.
God gives every bird it's food,
But he does not throw it into it's nest.
Learn from the mistakes of others.
You can't live long enough to make them all yourself.
The tongue weighs practically nothing,
But so few people can hold it.
He who loses money, loses much;
He who loses a friend, loses more;
He who loses faith, loses all.
Beautiful young people are accidents of nature,
But beautiful old people are works of art.

IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES

If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.
If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.
If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise, I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.
If I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute or two to stop and say "I love you," instead of assuming, you would KNOW I do.
If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day, well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.
For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we always get a second chance to make everything right.
There will always be another day to say our "I love you's", and certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do's?"
But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get, I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget, tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike, and today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.

Oh.....God if tomorow "NEVER" com???

So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today? For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day, that you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.
So hold your loved ones close today, whisper in their ear, tell them how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear, take time to say "I'm sorry," "please forgive me," "thank you" or "it's okay." And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

Eagles

Did you know that an eagle knows when the storm is approaching long  before it breaks? The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for   the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it.
The eagle does not escape the storm; it simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.
When the storms of life come upon us - and all of us will experience  them - we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's  power to lift us above them.
God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness,  tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above  the storm.
The Bible says: "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar aloft like eagles." (Isaiah 40:31)

Count Your Blessings

If you woke up this morning with more health than
illness...you are more blessed than the million
who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of
torture, or the pangs of starvation ... you are ahead
of 500 million people in the world.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of
harassment, arrest, torture, or death...you are more
blessed than three billion people in the world.
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on
your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep...
you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and
spare change in a dish someplace...
you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face
and are truly thankful...you are blessed because the
majority can, but most do not.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even
touch them on the shoulder...
you are blessed because you can offer healing touch.
If you can read this message, you just received a
double blessing in that someone was thinking of you,
and furthermore, you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.

Have a good day, count your blessings, and pass this along
to remind everyone else how blessed we are.

Good Things To Remember

Having a sharp tongue can cut your own throat.
If you want your dreams to come true, don't oversleep.
The smallest good deed is better than the grandest intention.
Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important.
The best vitamin for making friends....B1.
The 10 commandments are not multiple choice.
The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.
Minds are like parachutes...they function only when open.
Ideas won't work unless YOU do.
One thing you can't recycle is wasted time.
One who lacks the courage to start has already finished.
The heaviest thing to carry is a grudge.
Don't learn safety rules by accident.
We lie the loudest when we lie to ourselves.
Jumping to conclusions can be bad exercise.
A turtle makes progress when it sticks it's head out.
One thing you can give and still keep...is your word.
A friend walks in when everyone else walks out.

AND FINALLY...The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime!!!

WORSHIP BELONGS TO GOD!!!

Do you know that there is a spiritual war going on? It is a war between the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of hell. It is a war as to which kingdom gets WORSHIP... God or Satan? We can see it from Genesis to Revelation ... every event throughout The Ages of the Patriachs, The Bondage in Egypt, The Conquest of Canaan, The Period of the Judges, The History of Israel, The Gospel, The Acts of the Church and The Revelation ... leads to one question: "WHO GETS WORSHIP?"Exodus 20:3-6v3 - You shall have no other gods before mev4 - You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on earth beneath or in the water below.v5 - You shall not bow down to them; for I, the Lord your God am a jealous GodExodus 34:14- Do not worship any other god. for the Lord, Whose name is jealous, is a jealous God.It is from these verses in the scriptures that we learn that WORSHIP BELONGS TO GOD AND GOD DEMANDS IT!What is worship? In Hebrew, the word SHACHAH means to kneel and worship. In Greek, the word PROSKUNEO means to go forward to kiss His Hand. In other words, to give EVERYTHING to Him. It is confessing Him as God.What is the work of the devil? From the account in Genesis of the Garden of Eden, we really cannot discern the devil's purpose. But in Isaiah 14:12-14 we see that the devil wants to be like God. Isn't that's what the devil said to Adam and Eve, that they too could be "as gods" when they partook of the forbidden fruit? As we look into the New Testament, we read in the Gospel of Matthew 4:8-10:v8 - Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.v9 - "All this I will give you," he said, "If you will bow down and worship me."v10 - Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'It is in the third temptation of Jesus that the ultimate goal of the devil was exposed when the enemy finally came out with the confrontation:
"WORSHIP ME!"
When we come to the book of Revelation, we see that God's purpose is worship and Satan's purpose is also worship. From chapter 4 to 19, we learn that the twenty-four elders and four living creatures worship in heaven. But in chapter 13, we see worship of the image of the beast on earth - worshiping the beast is the worship of Satan. In chapter 14:7, we see that the eternal Gospel is preached: "Fear God, and give glory to Him, because the hour of his judgement has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water."WORSHIP GOD - this is the eternal Gospel! In Revelation chapter 21 and 22 we read about the new heaven and the new earth. Again we are commanded to worship God (Revelation 22:9)(An excerpt from the book "Worship God" by Watchman Nee)Today as we stand in anticipation of His soon return, that same question is being asked: "Who will you worship?" What is our duty as Christians? It is not enough just knowing salvation or serving Him. What is it that will satisfy God? Who will satisfy Him?We must put worship into everything we do. Do you have difficulites? First worship God, Are you weak and weary? Worship God. We learn in Psalm 8:2 that the praise of a weak child has the power to silence the enemy. Satan fears the worship of God. Worship by the few today is giving God what He will one day have from all. What the world will one day give God, we first give Him. We do not need to wait till the new heaven and new earth to worship.
NOW IS THE TIME TO WORSHIP!
Today the Father is still seeking (searching, yearning) for true worshipers. What is our duty as Christians? Worship God

Pondering

I often tell myself not to be hasty with my words, actions or deeds.
Sound like some martyr don’t I? Well it is not that I manage to do it
but there is no harm in trying.

A realization I must say….A handful of patience is worth more than
a bushel of brains. But at the same time it is also said that Patience has its limits.
Take it too far , and it’s cowardice. Now both the ideologies
seem true in their own way. But being patient is definitely a
virtue that not too many possess. It definitely eases out things during trying times.
I see people being mean, and it really takes it all out of me,
hen I try to reason out saying that there is another facet to
the person/ thing. But fortunately or unfortunately the point is
never driven across. I probably have to either stop being biased
( which I don’t think I am) or maybe try to communicate more effectively and try convincing them.

I believe the post has been very random so far. I apologize for its
frivolousness but I could not stop myself from posting whatever little
I had to say. I believe it would take me some more time to concretely
build up on the same.....oh wait wait i'l tell some more later.......

Everythings Has A Reasion To Life!!!

I trust that everything happens for a reason, even when we’re not
wise enough to see it.

I believe this quote has an important truth we should
remember.Life would be difficult if we think that things
just happen at random. If we have such mindset,
when something goes wrong we may lose heart and do
not know what to do. It won’t be easy either to stay
grateful and positive when something bad happens.
Things will be much easier if we believe that there is
a reason behind it and that it’s a part of our life’s picture.
Steve Jobs talked about this very topic in his famous
commencement address at Stanford. He called it
“connecting the dots”:

If I had never dropped out, I would have never dropped
in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers
might not have the wonderful typography that they do.
Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking
orward when I was in college. But it was very,
very clear looking backwards ten years later.
Again, you can’t connect the dots looking forward;
you can only connect them looking backwards.
So you have to trust that the dots will somehow
connect in your future. You have to trust in
something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.
This approach has never let me down, and it has made
all the difference in my life.
Are you having difficult time? Are you at an
intersection in your life? Whatever it is,
trust that the dots will connect in the future.
It will take the pressure off yourself and enable
you to walk your life with confidence.
Regarding bad circumstances, here is an important thing
to remember: without the bad dots, the whole dots won’t
connect as they should.
Bad dots are important. We like to think that only the
good dots are important. But the truth is, bad dots are
also essential. Our life picture simply can not be
completed without them. Dropping out from college
might seem like a bad thing for Steve Jobs, but it eventually
allows him to bring good typography into personal computers.
Similarly, something bad may happen to us, but it will make
the picture of our life complete and wonderful.
So, if bad things happen, don’t think that they just happen
without a reason. There is a clear reason: without them,
the dots in your life won’t connect as they should.

A Mother's Prayer

 I Love This Song's

Nothing can come close to the love that a mother feels for her children. Most women are inherently excellent mothers. Women carry their young before they are born and then continue to nurture them throughout their childhood and even into adulthood. Mothers make sure that their children are safe and happy throughout their childhood. It is the unconditional love that a mother feels that drives these feelings. It is hard to describe the feeling that a mother has towards her children. In fact, most people do not understand unless they become a mother themselves. Raising children comes with its own share of frustrations, from the needy new born baby that requires regular care to the sullen teenager, a mother's job is anything but easy. A famous saying states that "God could not be everywhere and so he invented mothers", these words are a great inspiration to mothers across the world. When all is well, a mother puts her children before anything else, including their own comfort and happiness.

Mothers give an awful lot of support to their children, whether it involves very visible support or simple background encouragement. Not only do mothers support their children, but they also often hold the whole family structure together. This role is not always plain sailing. A mother can also be upset or hurt. Remember that a mother often takes the fallout for the toddler tantrums and the teenage angst. Despite this, mothers, generally, will love their children no matter what they do.

Mothers are meant to be the cheerleaders of their kids, sometimes in loud and visible ways, sometimes in sublet or unspoken ways in the background. Mothers are often the backbone of families. Mothers job is not always an easy one. Mothers have to make sacrifices. Mothers can have their hearts broken. Mothers must be the conscience of young children and are often the brunt of their anger and pain as they grow into adulthood. The great thing about mothers is that they usually understand and love their kids anyways.

Every year there is a day set aside to celebrate the role of a mother. Unsurprisingly, the day is called Mother's Day. This day is a great opportunity for children of all ages to show their appreciation for the work of a mother. Gifts and cards, often handmade with care, are given as a sign of love.

Every year there is one special day put aside for mothers. What else could it be called but "Mothers Day."? This is the day that sons and daughters who are grown make the long distance calls or take their moms out for dinner. Mother's Day is a special day when mom gets the flowers she deserves. Mother's Day is a day when children stop and say thank you to mom for all she has done over the years. Young children make mothers homemade cards that bring tears to mother's eyes and make her realize that it is all worth it.

Describing a mother's love is virtually impossible. It is a feeling that can only truly be understood by those that experience it. In time, a mother's daughters will grow up to be mothers themselves.

Never underestimate the influence that a mother has over a child. It may not always appear this way, but children look to their mother for guidance on how they should deal with situations. On the rare occasions that a mother is unable to look after their children, maybe through illness or death, it can have a tragic impact on the life of the children.

Mothers have incredible power over their children that they must be respect. It is a tragedy for a child when the mother is not someone who looks after the child properly. It is a tragedy when a child or children lose their mother's at a young age.
Everyone Love Their My Mum.. Yes... We Love Our Mummmm Ever….. Mum May God Bless You And May You Live A Long Life…!!!!!

The Best Things In Life Are Free

Yes..... the best things in life is free
The best things in life are family, God’s love and salvation. Each and every one of these are free. They are gifts from our heavenly Father and we should cherish them.
Family is a free gift from God and one of the most important things in life.   God created the family so that we can populate the earth, comfort one another, give companionship, and give us the perfect example of His love for us. Each child born was known by God before the child was ever conceived. Family will be there for you in the good and bad times for the rest of your life. Friends won’t always be there. Family loves you no matter what your faults are. They encourage you when you are experiencing difficulty. They will always be concerned for your well being. They will stand beside you when times are tough. They will ultimately be you best friends.
The Bible says that God knew us before we were ever in our mother’s womb. Therefore, our souls were created before our bodies. Once  we were given an earthly body, God gave us a choice. God gave us an ability to reason God’s desire is that we come to know him personally and that we choose to serve him. In order to serve Him we must first know Him. Once we know Him we will have joy and comfort cannot be found anywhere else.   God’s love for us is greater than any love we can possibly fathom. We are all His children and He loves us all very much. He has a plan for us and we must trust Him with our lives and give our everything. God’s love is free and we should delight in Him and cherish every second he gives us.
Finally, the most important gift we will ever receive from anyone is God’s free gift of salvation. His desire is that no one goes to hell and that we spend eternity with Him in Heaven. Hell is a place of eternal damnation, sorrow, and fear. The only way to escape hell is salvation through Jesus Christ. All we have to do is accept Him as our Lord and Savior and ask Him to come into our hearts and save us from...

Honesty Is Huge

Honesty is huge. It is so much easier to lie sometimes. It is especially easier to lie, when you know that the truth will upset, anger, or hurt someone that you care about. It is even easier to lie when lying, will save our own butts.

Even this days sometime I try to lie when I know the true will upset but I know that will not help my life. Hence,  I used to be able to do a lot of things now by changing myself,  that I am no longer able to do. For that, i am grateful.

How about that storm? I drove my friend’s and his  friends through x Rd Chennai at about 7pm (date ?), to drop them off at another friend's house, and the thunder and lightning just about gave us all a heart attack . It came out of nowhere, but then was gone just as fast. I love thunder and lightning. I really miss the electrical storms that i grew up watching from the lake cabin. We just don't get them here in (Village?), like they get in chennai

Anyway, there were trees down on x  Rd at 7pm the night. I was more than happy to get back home and crawl into bed for the night, and listen to the storm from here. I wonder what the damage is out there today. It looks like it is a fairly sunny day. Although, in saying that, yesterday started out nice as well.

I am annoyed right now, at the weather reports telling us all to stay inside all weekend, and batten down the hatches. I cancelled cool plans because of that weather report, and now it is beautiful out there, and i am stuck here listening to Billy and his friends play xbox all weekend ha haa. The new Halo game was released the week. (X) went and got it the morning...at 10am, and was still up playing it at 4am, when i took Nixon outside for (x he/she?) business.

WHAT THE....?!?!?!?  I thought there was thunder going on outside still...until i got up and realised it was just the noise from the game

Thoughts to Ponder

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that
when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.

When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long
at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with,
never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've every had.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true
that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back!
Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't,
be content it grew in yours. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone,
an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone,
but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Don't go for looks; they can deceive.
Don't go for wealth; even that fades away.
Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.
Find the one that makes your heart smile.

There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you
just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!

Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be,
because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong,
enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy.

Always put yourself in others' shoes.
If you feel that it hurts you,
It probably hurts the other person, too.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched,
and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear.

The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't go on
well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life so that when you die, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

The Way Home

Here are the key elements by which we become reconciled to the Father. Each is vitally important. Any, if absent, could keep our new relationship from being complete.
Our condition: First, we must understand that we are separated from God. The chasm dividing us is both wide and deep. We inherited a fatal defect at birth. As a result, we have lived our lives independently from him. The Bible emphasizes this stark reality: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). If we can’t come to grips with the fact that sin separates us from God, we’ll never come home spiritually, for there is no need for a savior.
God’s remedy: Second, we need to be very clear in understanding who Jesus is and what he has done for us, in order that we might confidently place our faith in him. He bridged the chasm separating us from God. In the apostle John’s words: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
Jesus was not just a good man, a great teacher, an inspired prophet. He came to earth as the Son of God. He was born to a virgin. He led a sinless life. He died. He was buried. He rose again on the third day. He ascended into heaven where he became both Lord and Christ.
Jesus’ death and resurrection on our behalf satisfied God’s requirement – complete provision for our sin. This Jesus, and he alone, is qualified to be the remedy for my sin and yours.
Our response – to repent and believe.
Personal repentance is vital in the transformation process. Repentance literally means “a change of mind.” It is to say to the Father, “I want to turn toward you and away from the life I’ve lived independently from you. I am sorry for who I’ve been and what I have done and I want to permanently change. I receive your forgiveness for my sins.”
Many at this point experience a remarkable “washing” from a lifetime’s accumulation of all that can degrade a person’s soul and spirit. Whether or not we sense God’s forgiveness, if we repent, we can be very certain that we’re forgiven. Our confidence is based on God’s promise to us, not how we feel.
We come into a personal relationship with the Lord when we make life’s greatest decision – the turning point referred to earlier. It is to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the One who died for our sins, who was buried and was raised from the dead – and to receive him as our Savior and Lord. When we believe in this way, we become God’s children. This is emphatically promised in John’s gospel: “To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).
Would you like to receive Jesus Christ as your savior? If you would, you can pray a prayer like this:
“Jesus, I need you. I repent for the life I’ve lived apart from you. Thank you for dying on the cross to take the penalty for my sins. I believe you are God’s Son and I now receive you as my Lord and Savior. I commit my life to follow you.” may God bless you dear readers...!!

Why You Should Find Your Life Purpose:

Everyone wants to have a fulfilling life. Unfortunately, many people miss a key ingredient to have it: finding their life purpose. They may spend years of their life only to find at the end that they have done the wrong things. Many others achieve fame and financial success but feel empty inside.

Don’t make the same mistake. Your time is too precious to waste.

Why You Should Find Your Life Purpose

Here are three reasons why you should find your life purpose:

1. It gives meaning to everything you do

Your life purpose makes everything you do meaningful. You could be successful outside, but if you don’t find meaning you will feel empty inside.

2. It directs and guides you

Not only can your life purpose give you meaning, but also it can give you clear direction of where to go in life. It helps you make big decisions in life. People who don’t find their life purpose don’t have a strong foundation upon which to make their decisions. They most likely will just follow popular opinions.

Besides helping you make big decisions, your life purpose can also guide you in making small decisions. When you have two options in front of you, it will be easier for you to decide if you know what your life purpose is.

3. It motivates you

In life there are always difficult times to go through. You may experience failures or rejections. In such situations, your life purpose can give you the motivation you need to keep going.

How can your life purpose do that? By helping you see beyond the horizon. What you face in front of you may seem difficult but your life purpose helps you see beyond it.

Finding Life Purpose Is Not Easy

It’s never easy to find life purpose. In fact, it’s one of the most difficult things to do. Here are two reasons why finding life purpose is difficult:

1. It doesn’t have a universal formula

Life purpose is a personal thing. Everyone has different purpose and different way to find it. What apply to me might not apply to you and vice versa.

2. It takes time

This is perhaps the main reason why many people never find their life purpose. They want results instantly. Unfortunately, finding life purpose doesn’t work that way. It’s more like a journey than a one-time stop....have a blessing week ahead!!!!

Believing

Thus far I have sought to establish two basic ideas. The first is the way in which our lives were corrupted with inherited sin. The second is that Jesus came as the remedy. According to the Bible, these are completely dependable facts.
Now, I want to consider the relationship between these two realities and the possibility that we can build on them to be personally transformed.
The key in appropriating these truths is to believe them and apply them to ourselves. (The word “believe” conveys the same meaning as “have faith in…”) Let’s look more closely at the concept of believing as it is used in the Bible, for in the New Testament we find the word used nearly 250 times!
First, what believing is not. Believing is not wishful thinking or unfounded hope. It is not about earning a relationship with God. It is not about doing good deeds or just being a “good person.” We do not become believers simply by affiliation with a religious institution or by following tradition or by being born into a Christian family.
Believing requires an object. It is to place our confidence in someone or something. It is an action word. It involves making a conscious decision. We choose to believe – or we choose not to believe. Both involve a decision.
In the biblical meaning, believing engages the depths of our hearts, not just our minds. When we believe, we link the realities mentioned earlier with a commitment to anchor our hope in the person of Jesus.
When we believe, we are responding to God’s love towards us. That love is so profound and so comprehensive it provides the overarching context for all he has done for us, and all he expects of us. Jesus passionately wants us to be complete in our relationship with him.

Stay Happy Always

I love to be happy in life as God has given me with happiness to live and finally I realized God love their children and everyone who was created by HIM!!
Henceforth, whoever read this let us try to make happy ourself by giving thanks to God….
Yes…The question of how to be happy everyday may be a little difficult to answer, but as always said, happiness is a choice and you can definitely learn how to be happy everyday. Here are some ways to help you remind yourself to stay happy every single day.
- Stay away from things that make you unhappy and from people that have negative influences in your life.
- Wake up every morning by giving thanks - for the bright sunrise, for a great breakfast, or for a good night sleep. Cultivate the habit of being thankful - for great friends or for favors done to you, however small they may be.
- Think positive. Do not think of what you do not have but learn to appreciate whatever you have. Eliminate self-doubt and think that you can overcome difficulties in life.
- Do not let anything ruin your happy day. If you are faced with a difficult situation at work, do not let it ruin your day. Find ways to fix it. If some people make you mad, win the battle by not giving in to anger. Truly, learning how to be happy everyday is your choice.
- Meditate. This will help you manage stress and take charge of your life. Stress can make you irritable or annoyed. It can even put your health at risk. Get rid of stress to help you face tomorrow with a happy smile.
- Understand and respect other people. One great source of the many unhappiness in life is our difficulty to accept our differences. If we see something that we do not like, we seemed to be irritated. Understanding the people around you and why they act that way will help you get rid of negative feelings.
- Do something good for others. Doing something good is indeed one of the best ways to feel good about yourself and be happy. One source of happiness in this world indeed comes from being a blessing to others.
- Watch your words. Learn to be positive with your words - whether it is for yourself or for others. This will keep you from hurting people and avoiding trouble.
- Smile. A smile can truly radiate a positive energy to the people around you and to you as well. Greeting the people with a smile on your face is also one best way to looking good.
- Give and share. The magic of giving is not just about feeling good to be able to give and share to those who need your help. It is also in giving that you receive more blessings.
- Have a good laugh. Learning how to be happy everyday could just be as simple as having a good laugh. Eliminate boredom and sadness in life by sharing a good laugh with your friends or family. Go out with friends who talk about hobbies and travels and share light stories and not talking about other people's lives. Choose to talk with your co-workers about something that is pleasant - your dream places or destination or hobbies and sports.
- Eat healthy. This will spare you from any discomfort and pain. Take note too that it is easier to be happy if you are healthy.
Learning how to be happy everyday can be easy if you choose to be happy. If someone gives you a reason to get angry, it is actually your choice to get angry or not. So stay in control. Think about being happy - always…and Remember God your father Love you……for you are his children…

RANDOM SCRIBBLES OF A WISER SOUL!!!

It has been a while that I pen down my thoughts......Today is probably not the best of days for the same....but making an effort sure does no harm!

Ironical yet practical....there are certain things that you may or may not want to happen. They may or may not be the best things to happen.....but once they have happened...often feels/seems it was how it was meant to be. It is very strange though that once you look at what has happened, you feel glad in a way whatever it is....though it may totally contradict what you initially wished for or anticipated....

The experience could be awesome, bitter sweet or different in its own way.......the interpretations could be totally subjective and a reality check of perception is often a rude shock!! But then today as I pen down my thoughts, I can’t help but get convinced that there are situations in every person’s life which should have been dealt with differently. Here is where I contradict myself as I am convinced that it is a situation which makes a person act in a particular manner! And here is where I think that life is so much related to mathematics. Probability at its best I presume!!

So does it imply that with time you change? Possible that you would want to rethink about a particular event.....but more than often I think more than often your basic intuition (If you have reasonably good intuitive prowess! ) about a person is never wrong! A person may in your opinion be the best or not so good which again is your perception! Often we have the tendency to get negative when things do not happen.....negativity may be about situations, people, perceptions and also about certain events which turn out to be uncertain/ unexpected or contrary to what one anticipated! Is it wrong again? Well I don’t think so either....as it is human psychology to get angry!!! But is it worth it?? …I don’t believe so, as life is short and there is no use venting your anger on anyone! As I think, when you are sixty and you look back at your life, there may be materialistic regrets but am sure otherwise, there would be a lot to cherish, if looked at from the correct perspective! Why sixty…the same could be even as on today’s date!

Some say do what you think is right! :) Easily said! But what I think to be right may be wrong to someone else and vice versa.....it is virtually impossible to make everyone happy.........so here do you prioritize.....or compromise........Depends on the situation, person/persons involved and so many dimensions which one may think to be essential!! So here………….ahhhhh ummmmmm let me continue someother fine day….now itz cold here even in chennai and want to have a cup of coffe with my friend…….) : D

10 Simple Ways To Save Yourself From Messing Up Your Life

1.            Stop taking so much notice of how you feel. How you feel is how you feel. It’ll pass soon. What you’re thinking is what you’re thinking. It’ll go too. Tell yourself that whatever you feel, you feel; whatever you think, you think. Since you can’t stop yourself thinking, or prevent emotions from arising in your mind, it makes no sense to be proud or ashamed of either. You didn’t cause them. Only your actions are directly under your control. They’re the only proper cause of pleasure or shame.

2.            Let go of worrying. It often makes things worse. The more you think about something bad, the more likely it is to happen. When you’re hair-trigger primed to notice the first sign of trouble, you’ll surely find something close enough to convince yourself it’s come.
3.            Ease up on the internal life commentary. If you want to be happy, stop telling yourself you’re miserable. People are always telling themselves how they feel, what they’re thinking, what others feel about them, what this or that event really means. Most of it’s imagination. The rest is equal parts lies and misunderstandings. You have only the most limited understanding of what others feel about you. Usually they’re no better informed on the subject; and they care about it far less than you do. You have no way of knowing what this or that event really means. Whatever you tell yourself will be make-believe.
4.            Take no notice of your inner critic. Judging yourself is pointless. Judging others is half-witted. Whatever you achieve, someone else will always do better. However bad you are, others are worse. Since you can tell neither what’s best nor what’s worst, how can you place yourself correctly between them? Judging others is foolish since you cannot know all the facts, cannot create a reliable or objective scale, have no means of knowing whether your criteria match anyone else’s, and cannot have more than a limited and extremely partial view of the other person. Who cares about your opinion anyway?
5.            Give up on feeling guilty. Guilt changes nothing. It may make you feel you’re accepting responsibility, but it can’t produce anything new in your life. If you feel guilty about something you’ve done, either do something to put it right or accept you screwed up and try not to do so again. Then let it go. If you’re feeling guilty about what someone else did, see a psychiatrist. That’s insane.
6.            Stop being concerned what the rest of the world says about you. Nasty people can’t make you mad. Nice people can’t make you happy. Events or people are simply events or people. They can’t make you anything. You have to do that for yourself. Whatever emotions arise in you as a result of external events, they’re powerless until you pick them up and decide to act on them. Besides, most people are far too busy thinking about themselves (and worry what you are are thinking and saying about them) to be concerned about you.
7.            Stop keeping score. Numbers are just numbers. They don’t have mystical powers. Because something is expressed as a number, a ratio or any other numerical pattern doesn’t mean it’s true. Plenty of lovingly calculated business indicators are irrelevant, gibberish, nonsensical, or just plain wrong. If you don’t understand it, or it’s telling you something bizarre, ignore it. There’s nothing scientific about relying on false data. Nor anything useful about charting your life by numbers that were silly in the first place.
8.            Don’t be concerned that your life and career aren’t working out the way you planned. The closer you stick to any plan, the quicker you’ll go wrong. The world changes constantly. However carefully you analyzed the situation when you made the plan, if it’s more than a few days old, things will already be different. After a month, they’ll be very different. After a year, virtually nothing will be the same as it was when you started. Planning is only useful as a discipline to force people to think carefully about what they know and what they don’t. Once you start, throw the plan away and keep your eyes on reality.

9.            Don’t let others use you to avoid being responsible for their own decisions. To hold yourself responsible for someone else’s success and happiness demeans them and proves you’ve lost the plot. It’s their life. They have to live it. You can’t do it for them; nor can you stop them from messing it up if they’re determined to do so. The job of a supervisor is to help and supervise. Only control-freaks and some others with a less serious mental disability fail to understand this.
10.          Don’t worry about about your personality. You don’t really have one. Personality, like ego, is a concept invented by your mind. It doesn’t exist in the real world. Personality is a word for the general impression that you give through your words and actions. If your personality isn’t likeable today, don’t worry. You can always change it, so long as you allow yourself to do so. What fixes someone’s personality in one place is a determined effort on their part—usually through continually telling themselves they’re this or that kind of person and acting on what they say. If you don’t like the way you are, make yourself different. You’re the only person who’s standing in your way.

Thank You Lord For Everythings!!

Thank you, Lord, for simple things
that brighten every day
like sunshine in the morning
and daffodils in May.

Thank you, too, for friends who care
when tears begin to fall
and thank you, too, for answered prayer...
the greatest gift of all!

Thank you for each spring bouquet
and for the summer rose,
for rainbows in the meadow
and every stream that flows.

Thank you, Lord, for simple things
which really are quite grand
for each one is a miracle
wrought by the Master's hand!

Thank You Lord

I give you thanks, O Lord, with all my heart;
I will sing your praises before the gods.
I bow before your holy Temple as I worship.
    I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness;
    for your promises are backed
by all the honor of your name.
As soon as I pray, you answer me;
you encourage me by giving me strength. Every king in all the earth will thank you, Lord,
for all of them will hear your words.
Yes, they will sing about the Lord’s ways,
for the glory of the Lord is very great.
Though the Lord is great, he cares for the humble,
but he keeps his distance from the proud.

Though I am surrounded by troubles,
you will protect me from the anger of my enemies.
    You reach out your hand,
and the power of your right hand saves me.
The Lord will work out his plans for my life—
for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.
Don’t abandon me, for you made me.

Give thanks unto the Lord!  He is marvelous, and wonderful.  There is really no words that can describe Him!  He deserves our praise and obedience.  What a blessing it is to serve God Most High!  What a privilege to be considered His sons and daughters.  He woke me up again and supplies me with my every breath!  His faithful love endures forever!  Praise His Holy Name!

There’s not much to be said except, praise Him and thank Him for every thing that He has done.  I often have a hard time with this because I’m throwing a pity party for myself, even though I know that if I were only to acknowledge God first in everything, even calamity, things would be much easier for me simply because God is first in my life in everything and He will strengthen me when I am weak.

Today is a national day of Thanksgiving!  Everyday is a day of thanksgiving when you have a God such as ours!  Praise His Holy Name!  Paul says, “be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.  And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Eph 5:18-20
